Good day
You have to look in under the dash and make sure the connections at the back of the cluster is in place. If that is all good then check the fuse box and make sure all fuses are in place and working correctly.
Good luck.
If it's like any other Blazer, a possible simple fix is to disconnect the battery for about 10 minutes. That resets the computer system. It worked for my Blazer. I had the same problem. Mine went into low range, but my front axle wouldn't engage. So give it a try. The only thing you'll mess up is the clock in the radio.
there is a vacuum actuator under the battery tray. it is the most common cause for this issue. also the cable
that goes from that actuator to the differential stretches sometimes
causing it to engage and not engage depending on how bad it is.
my 2000 chevy blazer zr2 4x4 the a/c switch that does 123 and 4,the a/c only works on num 3 setting.ive just replaced the whole a/c sytem and blower relay.it wont work on num 4 at all and when it does it cuts off on its own and then works on setting 3 only?what to do?
my 01 blazer 4x4 did the same, light flashed but never fully engaged. take out your battery and battery tray and underneath the tray is your vaccum, i found my hose had been knocked off, i slide it back on and it worked and has been doing great ever since.
