Hello, go to the set up in menu option , the symbol with with spanner and screwdriver, ensure that the camera is not in full auto ( green mode ) you will find he reset option in the drop down, hope this helps

Press the FUNC/SET button. Use up/down to select "My Colors" (the palette, second item from the top). Use left/right to select "B/W" for black-and-white then press FUNC/SET.
I'm not sure on that one, if it's a lens error it would need servicing. Try going to camerasandparts.com wince I know they just specialize in canon powershot problems such as you're experiencing. They're terrific if you have a powershot problem, your model and issue is actually right there on the site. Hope that helps some, good luck with it,
You need to do two things. 1. Take a Q-Tip dampened in rubbing alcohol and clean the battery contacts inside the compartment. Clean the battery and the charger also using the same method. 2. Go into your main menu and restore all factory defaults. You should be all set after these steps are taken. Thank you, Dana
