Unfortunately, the F76 code means that the control panel/keypad could be faulty for some GE-manufactured ovens. Since the keypad and control board are sold as a single unit, it's not the cheapest fix. Try disconnecting the power to the oven (unplug or trip the circuit breaker) for at least a minute. Sometimes a longer period (5 minutes+) without power helps reset the error code. If the error returns, please add a comment with the model number of the oven. I may be able to find a parts list for you.
"F76" is a power supply problem. Could be something really simple or something much harder to figure out. These units aren't really user serviceable and it's way too old to still be in warranty(?) so maybe you've been whapped with a subtle hint to upgrade to a blu-ray HT system. You'd be able to keep the rest of the system and just replace the head unit.
I have the same problem with my Panasonic model SAHT-40. I get the same code plus popping and shortly reads maximum overload then cuts off. I disassembled my unit and discovered that my fan fails 2 work causing the unit it over heat. I called Panasonic 2 place an order 4 a cooling fan. This model is obsolete they dont even manufacture parts 4 this unit anymore. The closest that I can get with my credit card is Samsung model AH31-00056B cooling fan through Panasonic. I hope that this solution helps all of u out with ur unit!
