Why a Goodman GMS80453ANA furnace lights up then it turns its self off after a few seconds?

This says Code 88 is a dirty filter. After the reset, pull the filter out and try again. If it runs, vacuum the filter and buy a new one next time you are passing Home Depot.

Since the burners light this eliminates the pressure switch as the problem. Typically when the burners come on and shut off quickly a flame sensor, ground problem or the limit switch tripping are the main reasons. Since the flame sensor has been replaced, check the limit switch

though your draft induced blower goes through its cycle, your pressure switch may not be proofing to open the main gas valve.

The pressure switch requires a negative pressure (vacuum) to close the contacts. It is measuring the pressure in the inducer and indirectly ensure there is good combustion airflow throught the heat exchanger. Check for a small vacuum, in the neighborhood of 1" water column. Usually the vacuum required to close the switch is stamped on the vacuum switch. Check the vent pipe for obstructions and correct size and installation.
If the pressure aka vacuum switch does not close the furnace will not continue with ignition, for safety reasons.

True, because there is no installing contractor involved with the sale the manufacturer cannot be assured that the heater will be installed properly. Contact a local installer to see if they can sell you the equipment for a few dollars over their cost if you pay them to install it. It may be cheaper in the long run especially if you are purchasing a Goodman. If not, follow the installation instructions to the letter.

It most likely is not stuck..... It is just doing its job. You "most likely" have over problems. To "properly" diagnos this problem you will need a manehelic gauge. You can have a wide variety of problems from as simple as a blocked or disconnected vacum hose to a lifetheatening problem.... a blocked flue pipe or a bad heatexchanger.

The furnace should be a 3 or 4 speed motor in it. On the circuit board there are places maked heat and cool. If you are looking for low the red wire should be plugged into the heat designation. make sure unit is unplugged before changing
