I paired my headset with my iPhone for my first and now I would like to pair my iPad. How can I do this?

I had a problem with this also, try this.
Turn off both devices then turn on your phone.
make sure your bluetooth option is "ON" on your phone
turn on the blueant z9i
press and hold both volume buttons, while doing that, press the ANT button.
Your blueant should be flashing fast right now and your iphone should be able to find it.
complete the pairing by selecting the blueant headset on your iphone and enter the code "0000"
enjoy

It's important to note that the pin has to be entered while the light is still violet. On the phone, begin searching for bluetooth devices. With the boom closed, hold the center button until the light turns violet, then immediately flip the boom open. The phone should immediately find your H700. However, to pair successfully, you must enter the pin (0000) while the light is still violet. If the light goes off, close the boom, enter 0000, and while the phone says processing, hold the center button until the light turns violet and flip the boom open. The light on your H700 will turn blue, then flash rapidly, and your phone should say that it has paired successfully.

This worked great for me... I got the headset in "pairing" mode by following these instructions. Then set my BB Curve 8350i to "discover" bluetooth devices. It discovered the headset and asked for a PIN number... one of the other articles I read said the pin was "0000" so I put that in and - PRESTO - it works

On
your phone, make sure bluetooth is turned on (settings, general).
While
your phone is in discovery mode, turn your bluetooth device on and put
it in discovery mode (usually you have to hold the power button for 7-10
seconds).
Your phone will find the device, and you will be
prompted to enter the devises PIN number (often 0-0-0-0). Your phone
should pair with the device then.
Among the convenient features of the Apple iPad is the ability to pair the iPad with Bluetooth devices.

Like most things related to the iPad, connecting an iPad to a Bluetooth device a quick process.
Refer to the device's instruction manual for directions to make the Bluetooth device discoverable.
Typically, this involves holding down a button for a few seconds.
To pair an iPad and a Bluetooth device, the Bluetooth device must be discoverable.
Turn the iPad's Bluetooth capability on.
Go to the settings menu on the iPad by tapping the "Settings" icon on the iPad home screen.
Tap "General" from the left panel and then "Bluetooth."
Once you are in the Bluetooth screen, slide the "On/Off" switch to "On" to turn on Bluetooth.
Select the device you wish to pair with the iPad from the list of discoverable Bluetooth devices that appears on the screen.
Depending on the device, a password may be required.
Refer to the Bluetooth device's product manual for this password.
Hope this helps.
