The SRS is connected to the fuel pump as a safety measure. What happened is the fuel pump cutoff is active now.

Testimonial: "will the fuel pump..not let the motor turn over"

"turn over?" Does that mean it cranks at all and wont start or it wont crank at all

I have a 2006 kia sportage it quit running will spin over but not start any solutions

I would check two things, fuel pump and timing belt. You should here a WHIIIRRRRR noise while in the car when you put the ignition to on position. The timing belt is a little more difficult. It's under the plastic cover on front of your engine. Some engines have viewing plugs that make it easier to see and possibly stick your finger in to feel for the belt. The rest is up to you. Good Luck Friend.

Cooling fan starts up when I turn on engine on Kia Sportage 2006

I have two 2006 Kia Sportages and they both do the same. I'm not sure but I think the cooling fan is programmed to start if using a remote starter.

My 2006 kia sportage lost power while driving. It has fuel and spark. The engine cranks but won't turn over. cylinders show no compression and the only trouble code is for crank position sensor.

No compression and no start with a cam sensor code makes me think that you have a broken timing belt. If true, there has been some engine damage. The pistons will hit the valves and cause bent valves/ holes in pistons.

06 kia sportage airbag control module

If your refering to the light on top of the dash that says "psgr air bag not connected" here;s the deal.

The module is activated when someone sits in the seat. Turn the key on and the notification will light. Go around to the psgr side of the car and sit in the seat and the light should go out.

TPMS light on 2006 Kia Sportage

Your Tire Pressure Management System is extremely sensitive. Some makes are known to trip with just 5-8 psi. difference. Have the pressure checked again on all tires including the spare. Make sure the spare is up to proper inflation. VERY important. It is possible that the sensor inside the tire as well as any wiring associated with the system under the wheel wells could have been damaged. Start by making sure the pressures are all within system range. The owners manual will stipulate this and all info you may need to troubleshoot on your own. good luck.
