2006 Chevy Cobalt SS. How to get past the antitheft system on it please.

A nice simple answer, you can't. Think of it this way, the car doesn't know you are the owner, and it is there to stop exactly what you are trying to do. You have two computer ECM and BCM, plus the antitheft module and a number of sensors all trying to stop you. All you have to do is the re-learn procedure. Plan B is an auto electrician or alarm / radio installer or auto locksmith.

30 Minute Re-Learn Procedure
  1. Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF.
  2. Attempt to start the engine, then release the key to ON (vehicle will not start).
  3. Observe the SECURITY telltale, after approximately 10 minutes the telltale will turn OFF.
  4. Turn OFF the ignition, and wait 5 seconds .

Chrysler Crossfire 2006 immobilizer?

You can't , and rather then just thinking it's the immobilizer you need to know for sure ! Is there any light's lit on the dash flashing when you try to start the vehicle ,or a light - Security , a key an lock symbol ? If not I wouldn't think it's a anti-theft system problem ! Before you start replacing parts needlessly an chopping into wiring harness , I suggest you have it taken to a ASE certified repair facility !

Battery went dead, so I replaced it. now the anti theft system wont let it start

You need to manually reset the anti-theft system. I don't know what kind of car you have but most anti-theft systems are located just underneath the dash behind the steering wheel. It will probably be a little black box, maybe with a red light, but there should be a button on it that you need to press and hold for about 5 seconds then try to start the car again. Some of them you need to have the ignition on when you do the reset.

2005 Chrysler 300 wont start, clicking coming from rear fuse box. Check all fuses, all ok. Not sure what the problem is red light on the dash is on. Please help

The security system has been activated. It's not able toread the chip in the key. That's y it only let it start 3 times. After that it locks up,put a battery charger on car and turn key on and leave on for 45 min, this will unlock anti theft module. Preferably use a spare key

2005 chrysler 300c-deactivate anti-theft system

Instructions
    • 1 Ensure that the doors, hood, decklid and rear liftgate are properly closed. The alarm cannot properly arm if any of the doors or other openings are not closed.
    • 2 Replace the batteries in the key fob to ensure that the remote is capable of arming the alarm system. If the batteries have been dead for more than a few minutes, the fob will need to be synchronized with the vehicle to function. To synchronize the remote with the car, aim the remote at the vehicle and press the lock or unlock button twice. Next, place the key in the vehicle's ignition and turn the ignition switch to the "On" position. All of the steps must be completed within 30 seconds.

    • 3 Verify that the parking lamps flash three times when the system is armed using the remote. Alternatively, verify that the alarm is armed by looking at the alarm indicator on the dash. If the alarm is properly armed, the alarm indicator light should blink.

RESETTING CHECK ENGINE LIGHT

I can only assume you have had the code extracted and fixed the problem and looking to do a reset only. If you have not fixed the problem the reset wont do any good. That being said, in most all chrysler vehicles, the check engine light can be reset by disconnecting the negative battery cable for at least 15 seconds. However on OBD II (usually 97 and newer) models the light can only be reset with the use of a scan tool. CAUTION : If the stereo in your vehicle is equipped with an anti-theft system, make sure you have the correct activation code before disconnecting the battery cable.
