I have a babylock Esante Ese-2 and need a replacement embroidery arm.

You can try eBay or Craigslist for a donor machine. Or, contact your Babylock dealer.

My needle threader on my Baby Lock Esante has stopped doing its job. Anything that I can do to fix it?

Is it not coming down to the needle or is it just not going through the eye of the needle? My mother bent her's once and I have to adjust the position of the needle just right to get mine to work. There is also a chance that the little hook itself has been bent or even broke. It's so small that it can be hard to see. My grandmother broke her's after several years. She couldn't figure out why it stopped working and took her "baby" to get a "check up". They told her that the hook had broken just enough to not hook the thread.
If you bought it from a baby lock dealer there is a life time warranty on it. If not it shouldn't cost much to have serviced.
Hope this helps.

The automatic threader does not work

Please refer to page 33 of the user's manual.

The needle has to be in the highest position for the needle threader to align with the eye of the needle.

Threaders will not work if the eye of the needle is too small for the wire on the threader.

Sometimes the wire gets bent if it was forced against a needle that was too small or if the needle was not in the correct position for the threader to work.

The wire can be bent back into place, but you have to be careful as it is very thin and can break.

If the wire is broken, the dealer can order a new threader - they are not very expensive and are easy to install.

My touch screen doesn't always work. Sometimes I have to touch all around the square and even then, it won't come on. At times, it stops working when I want to change patterns. It seems to work most of the...

Yes, I have a solution for this problem. Your screen needs to be recalibrated and you can do it yourself. Don't you wish they would just tell you this stuff instead of charging you an arm and a leg? Here's what to do: Before turning on the machine, press the start/stop button, the reverse button, and the needle position button all at once with one hand (one finger on each button). Hold them down and turn on the machine. What will come up is a recalibration screen. You will see the numbers 1-5 with a little plus sign beside them. Find a small blunt object (I used the tip of a mechanical pencil with the lead in instead of out) and while holding the start/stop button, touch the plus sign beside 1-5 in numerical order. Then, turn the machine off and on again in the normal way. This should recalibrate the screen. Pass it along, people! This is something no one should have to pay for!
