I would make a frame around it approximately the size it should be. then use lots of strings to pull it evenly all around. Gradually shortening the strings while working the wool to try to get the fibers to open up.

Hi I have a Bosch Avantixx6. On woolen wash it fills with water and then just sits there doing nothing????? Janet Bournemouth

My Bosch machine has very little drum movement on the woollen wash, I guess because woollens shouldn't be agitated too much.

Why does my machine shrink clothes on 40 degree wash

Some tissues are more sensitive to shrinking than others.
Some clothing cannot be machine washed or only at very low temperatures (hand warm).
Especially woolen fabric will shrink even at 40 degrees.
Be carefull with spinning at high RPM's.
Always consult the label in the clothing:

Try to press the start/stop button for at least 3 seconds. This should reset the started cycle, and you can make a new choice. If this dont help, it could be a faulty control board

I have an Omega CW 675-A washing machine and I have just moved in but the owner did not leave an instruction booklet for the settings. Is this a free service? Can you help me? Paul

Hi

The particular model number is not listed in the list of manuals of omega washing machine. Please call the customer support for assistance. However given bellow are some settings of the washing machine, which is extracted from a website.Hope it helps:-

7 is warm wash delicates (warm cycles then it runs through the number 10 delicate cold cycle too)
10 is cold wash delicates
1 is the longest regular cycle
I normally wash with only the cold tap on, 3 for dirty washes, 4 for regular washes.
Soap goes in the middle slot
3 Buttons from left to right
left - in to spray rinse
middle - in to NOT spin dry
right - in for NOT boost heat (or maybe it has no booster and it is just in for cold wash - not sure)
when standing in front of it, reaching over the back, the left connector is cold and the right connector is for hot water.

Please get back to us if you have further query else please accept the suggestion.

Hotpoint WT540 when set to temp 30 wash programme H it has shrunk woolen jumpers twice now. Is their a temperature sensor that could of failed or is there another reason why this should happen. Is there a...

There is a temperature sensor, it is called a Thermistor, and they have been known to fail,
It is usually located at the end of the heater fixing plate.
But it could be also a board problem.
You can get a thermometer to test the temp , there is an infrared one that you point at the liquid or article you need to check the temp of,, and it shows the temp on an lcd screen, but they are not cheap.
At 30 however, the water should be no more thal luke warm, if it feels hot, then the temp is not being controlled

In wollen and acryllic mode the machind is NOT supposed to go into a spin cycle and hence you get wet clothes.....
There is Nothing wrong with your machine.
