Hi Lionel 6-11735 New York Central Flyer I got one of these in a trade and there are no instructions. We've never had a train I have always wanted one so I was wondering if it's something I can see how to do online I can't find an online manual with instructions . do you have a video that shows someone putting it together and it running that I could watch?

The train sounds on my New York Central Flyer model #6-30016 won't turn off. How do I turn the sounds off?

The set instructions don't list a way to turn the sounds off. If there is no switch on the underside of the tender or a volume control (looks like a slotted screw), you may not be able to turn the sounds off. Contact customer service at Lionel.com or give them a call for a prompt answer.

The magnet may not have enough punch using track power. Recommend you use an aux power source fixed 10 to 13VAC supply and not track power. There may also be a slight + difference between the track magnet head and the plate on the coal car so that there is insufficient force to release the dump mechanism.
