Hi, I have a hoover six. express 1300 washer dryer. The door just fell off at the hinge end, how do I know which replacement hinge I need? Everything I've looked at asks for the model number which has rubbed off the sticker!!

nope sorry but all front load washers are built with a locking system on the door and that makes them impossible to change the door swing.
the only thing you can do is move the washer and dryer position by getting longer hoses and venting so you can have the washer on the left and the dryer on the right.

How do I reverse the door on my Whirlpool Duet WED9270XW dryer?
George, try the following-- hope it helps!

Things You'll Need
  • Torx T25 screwdriver
  • Phillips screwdriver
  • Large towel
Instructions
    • 1 Remove the four Torx screws holding the door hinge to the dryer. Lift the door up and pull it away from the dryer to remove it. Lay the door face-down on a large towel to protect it. Screw the four Torx screws back into the holes in the dryer.
    • 2 Remove the two Trox screws holding the door strikeplate onto the dryer's door jamb. Remove the strikeplate and install it on the opposite side of the door jamb.
    • 3 Remove the Phillips screws along the inside of the door. Lift the inner door up and remove it from the outer door. Remove the six Phillips screws along the outer window retainer. Rotate the outer window assembly clockwise until the tabs on the window line up with holes on the frame, and lift the outer window retainer up and off of the window's trim ring.
    • 4 Rotate the outer window itself 180 degrees to rotate the handle to the other side. Replace the outer window retainer and rotate it counter-clockwise to lock it into place. Replace the six Phillips screws.
    • 5 Remove the Torx screws holding the hinge and latch plate in place. Reinstall the hinge on the opposite side of the door. Reinstall the latch plate on the opposite side of the hinge. Slide the inner door back into the outer door and replace the Trox screws.
    • 6 Remove the four Torx screws on the hinge slot on the door jamb. Slide the door into the door jamb and replace the screws

My hoover six express 1300 washer/dryer The belts slipping and today the drum was struggling to go all the way rould and i see a spark come from undernith machine is that cuz it needs a belt
The felt glides have probably worn through at some point which will require removing the drum and replacing, preferably, the belt and all of the felt glides front and back.

Hi there is a plastic band around the rubber seal to take it off you would need a small screwdriver and prise it open gently than lift off the rubber and replace the door switch to put back the band just push clip the two ends together when it is around the rim

Door hinges broken and door fell off
yeah very easy and it should only cost at most about £10 undue the old hinge with the 2screws now the door will have two little covers that held the old hinge in place take these out and make sure u get the broken pieces out of them once u have the new 1 put it on the washer and screw down first and then place the covers on the ends of the hinges and put the door in place now redue the screws on the door

Amana lwa40aw noise during spin cycle Had a drive belt wear out. Replace it and now, at the start of the spin cycle, there is a loud and fast clicking noise. The driven wheel at the bottom of the basin is "skipping". That ramped cam at the bottom. The washer spin cycle worked until the motor pulley dug a divot in the v-belt. No evidence of corrosion around the bearings. No obvious bearing noises before the failure. I'm also surprised at the motor speed at spin cycle initiation and wondering if there is a speed control malfunction that may have caused the belt wear issue. Seems like it's going too fast.

GE washer no spin cycle, motor code is "brake resistor circuit open". I measure 47 Ohms. What is correct value? I have a GE washing machine, model WJRE5500G2WW. The machine doesn't run spin cycle properly, and the motor LED is flashing 9 times indicating "brake resistor circuit open". I measure 47 Ohms across the resistor and am wondering what the correct value is. Thanks!
