Read the manual and there are no suggestions. The Garmin connect app and activity band should align but they do not.
To factory reset, go to these steps in sequence:
1) delete Garmin Express off your PC;
2) delete Garmin mobile app off your phone;
3) Re-install Garmin Express onto your PC;
4) Re-install Garmin mobile app and pair the device.
When you get to step four, you'll get a message that says - something like - "conflict with unknown account on Garmin Express, to continuing installing mobile app, data will be wiped out and wearable will be reset". That's what you want. Fixed the problem.
