I had a similar problem with my Bosch wall oven after a recent power outage-restart-outage-restart cycle that lasted only about thirty seconds altogether. The difference would be in that while I could reset all the things like day, date, time, etc., the oven would arbitrarily go off on its own and make up the day, time, date, year, etc., with no apparent correspondance to reality. Here's what I did: I completely shut down the oven at its outside breaker (you will need to do whatever it takes to remove the power from the 'plug-n-go'). I waited five or ten minutes before turning the power back on and resetting the various items. Two days have passed and there have been no more mind-of-its-own excursions into another time zone. Problem solved, unless/until another power outage cycle comes along. Hope this helps, or at least gives you an idea about where to start.

I would suggest pulling the control board out and looking on the foil side (opposite the component side) for "ring cracks," most likely on the low voltage transformer's connections.

The board may have the screen-printed reference designator "T1" near the low voltage transformer.

Also be sure the fuse is not easy to turn with your fingertips when it is in the holder. If it is, the fuse holder is too loose and must be replaced (not just squeezed with pliers).

You can order a fuse holder, part number WB06X10034 for $6.49 (subject to change) from the Pros here.

If you have any keypad issues, please note that the membrane keypads for this model have long been discontinued.

Help my vizio tv, model #e371va is stuck frozen? Help our VIZIO TV is stuck frozen?!My Vizio is froze on the setup screen and Ive tried everything to clear it.. Nor do i have the original remote any...

While the set is on, pull the power plug. Then hold and depress the power button in for about a minute. Then replug set and turn it back on. If that does not reset the tv then you do indeed have a serious issue with the set.

Why does my freezer stay steady at 28 degrees will not freeze well, refridgerator seems to still work. Nothing appears frozen, or clogged. Is it the fan, or something else?

check the cold control thermostat with a meter for both OHMS and volts ( VOLTS is a live test with fridge plugged in so be careful) It must show 110 volts. An open or thermostat that reads infinity will not allow the proper cooling and defrosting cycles to operate and may in fact stop anything from happening as if there is no power to the unit?

ALSO CHECK THE AIR FLOW VENT SYSTEM and THERMISTORS At times it can get stuck to far closed or open. Some units feature a digital electric adjusting vent system while others are manually set. Check for any ice build up or other obstruction in the vent damper, see if u can manually open or close it. Some times when u have the settings set to the highest it closes off one area while allowing to much cold air flow to the other area!

THERMISTORS in the
freezer and fridge section for continuity OHMS and for amount of OHMS current being put out. In most models around 13000 ( give or take 150 ohms) ohms is required

The printer seems to be frozen on that screen and won't do anything. I have unplugged and plugged back in everything several times, still no joy

Printer connected to PC ? No communication between these 2 devices ? Set-up process done properly ? Is this at the office ? Spilled fluid and internal failure ? Jammed paper inside ?

Hi My Sharp AR-275 has problem of U2-40 now. I tried Solution 1 or removing toner cartridge and replacing the same one (because there is still 50% left). And also I tried Solution 2 or press #...

The U2-40 error is the machine telling you that there is a communications error with your CRUM chip.

is there anything at all displayed on the screen??

if there is, press the #, interrupt, C, interrupt in rapid succession. If you don't know what the interrupt button looks like, it is the third button from the right on the control panel. You may have to try it a few times, as with age, the buttons are harder to push so they register that you are pushing them. Once you get into the simulation mode, press 16, then start, and follow the on-screen instructions. once the machine has reset the code, usually shows by going back to the main code screen, then press the CA button, or "clear all".(second button from the right) that will reboot the machine and hopefully clear the code.

Screen going blank and laptop freezes.

Go into the diplay properties, under the screen saver tab there is a button marked power, open this. Under one of the tabs there is a section that reads, when I close the lid, under this section set it as never.
