Do a factory reset to this TV. It will make all to factory settings.
There are two types of reset to TVs. The first is simple to do; a Hard Reset. The other is somewhat skilled; is a Factory Reset (System Reset). To make it a hard reset, just unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 15 minutes or so. If you do this by overnight; will be better. This procedure will make it a hard reset. If you want to make it a system reset [Factory Reset]; you have to enter its service mode option, and select the factory reset option. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts. Surf the site with patience. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/
Service mode entry, adjust and exit procedure to many popular brand TVs are given. Never forget to exit the service mode, after all adjustments have been done

SOURCE: Speakers Shot?

Technically, the television should protect itself from doing any damage, but sometimes that doesn't happen correctly.
When you say that they sound like the speakers are blown, can you describe that sound?
If it sounds like they're blown, they likely are.  It's probably about the same cost to repair the speakers (if out of warranty), than to buy an external amp and speakers.

SOURCE: I plug in headphones, but sound still comes out of TV speakers

This information was found on the Dynex website: (http://www.dynexproducts.com/pc-680-23-dynex-32-720p-flat-panel-lcd-hdtv-matte-black.aspx) in the frequently asked question section on page 7. If the solution below dos not work for you. You can either go to the website by copying the web address and putting it in your address bar. Once there you can use the e-mail function to talk to customer support. You can also use the Dynex customer support telephone number 1-800-305-2204 between the hours of 7am and 12 am CST. Give them the model number of your television and the problem you are having with the use of the headphones. I hope this information helps you solve your problem. How do I get headphones to work with my TV? o Connect the headphone cable to the headphone jack on the side of your TV. o The sound will be heard through both the headphones and on the TV speakers. o Press Mute to hear sound only through the headphones. o Use the volume buttons on the remote to adjust the volume level. o You must remember to press mute again to hear sound through speakers. It will not automatically come on when you unplug the headphones.

My sharp tv also had a green tint and resetting to facotry setting did not work, what finally worked is making sure that all cables were inserted all the way into the tv and receiver. Someone else advised this for another Tv and it worked on my sharp so it is worth a try.

Usually there will be a "Reset to default settings" option.
Try it and see. All settings that you changed will be reverted back to original settings using this option.

42" LED42C45RQ need volume configuration

Hi Jennifer,
Settings of bass, treble and equalizer is a matter of personal choice. You can set them to your liking. Alternatively you can choose the sound mode ( like music, movie and theater ) of your choice. The balance setting off course must be in the middle or zero position so that both the speakers give equal amount of sound. In equalizer the extreme left column represents the low frequency sounds like the sound of drums. As you move rightwards the sounds go on becoming finer and finer and the extreme left column represents the fine sounds of the instruments like violin and sitar. Somewhere in the middle is there is human voice also. Play some music, try varying each column and see the effect. Good luck.

Sound does not sound right Settings for Sharp Aquos LCD TV Sound Menu please Sound Mode - Should this be set to Personal, Music or Speech Equalizers (5) - Suggested plus or minus...

Re Sharp LCD TV sound -

Sound mode:
"Personal" is your own user-defined setting to your own taste.
Others are presets for quick selection.
Basically it's just a Graphic Equalizer as seen on Hi-Fi's.
Leftmost slider is for low frequency Bass and rightmost is high frequency Treble.
Boost is up, or higher number.
The personal user settings depend on your speakers, room, your preference.
I personally prefer slightly boosting bass and treble for mellowness and clarity. Mid can also be slightly boosted for clearer voice etc. Like a 'W'.
Boosting mids too much can cause a 'boxy' sound.

Virtual "surround" sound:
This technology creates a wider stereo effect, simulating 3D sound depth by delaying some sounds and feeding to opposite channel.
Ear/brain trickery. Some audio suits this, other not. Your choice.

Digital Audio:
Probably for a fibre-optic port.
Unless your'e using a fibre-optic cable to a compatible digital device, try off.

PCM=Pulse Code Modulation:
AVL=Analog Voltage Level:
I 'think' this refers to matching with the audio source type as in playing DVD's.

What are good settings to have to make the music sound clear for a jvc KD-R310 deck?

you will need to access the bass and treble setting on the unit.
If you have stnadard speaker then dont put the bass to high as you can not turn the volume up high.
The same for the treble.
Set them at about the same and turn the volume up until it sounds good.
If it is to quiet then turn the treble and bass down and then the volume up more

How to turn sound on phillips plasma 32 inch tv

Hello
I thinks that you want to tune your TVs sound parameters, and answers. As you know, when the TV is switched on it will display picture as well as sound, according to the volume level setting. If you want the qulality of sound much more better, by pressing Menu button and higlight the opton 'Sound'. As you select, there will be a 'tick' mark appears, indicating that sound option is selected. On to the right side, there will be Bass, Treble, and balance control displays. Use "Cursor Up" button to go box 'Bass", and increse or decrese Bass lavel as you likes. If you wants to adjust treble, use "Curser Right" button and do as previous to your taste. Come to the "Balance" option by using "Cursor Up or Dn' keys and set it to mid position. There will be indication for its mid position, and it should be in that position, so that you can hear sound from both speakers equally.
All jumpings and adjustments can be done with 'CursorUp, CurserDn, CursorLeft, CurserRight' Ok.

BASS,TREBBLE,MIDS SETTING

Hello 1rocknroller,

Press the mode button repeatedly to select BASS, TREBLE, SUBW, BALANCE, FADER, DEFEAT, AND VOLUME. When subwoofer mode is set to off, it's level cannot be adjusted. If DEFEAT is set to ON, the player returns to factory defaults. Turn the volume control to adjust the setting. If no adjustment is made within 5 seconds after selecting, the player returns to normal mode.

Hope this helps.
