This is filed under computer speakers but in any case, with a smart phone, their is a low probability this can be done by the customer. In any case, it will involve opening the smartphone case, and replacing the speaker and or repairing the audio circuit if indeed the speaker or audio circuitry are defective. I would make sure the speaker required repair or replacement as it could be a setting or feature issue.
I would get a repair estimate on the speakers, could be just a bad solder on the inside of the case. If repairs are going to cost over 100 dollars, then i would replace them. At least you know it's the speakers and not your audio card or integrated audio on your motherboard. I hope this helps.
Your best bet would be to go to a speaker repair shop, the Bose system should be worth a lot more than the modest price to repair the connector plug/socket. If you can't find a speaker shop locally look for one online.
If you're willing to do the repair yourself, there is an Internet site - Simply Speakers -that sells repair kits for speakers ,including speaker surrounds.
I agree, NE Speaker is the BEST repair speaker shop in the eastern half of the USA. I have an EV 12" speaker re-built there and its better than it was before it was blown. Great job NE Speaker!!!
