My guess is it's in the oven box towards the top. looks like an ice pick and screws to the oven wall. Find where the wire feeds through the wall and remove the access cover behind it. It can be disconnected and checked for ohms. No model number, so replacement parts are easy to look up by model number. I have a Frigidaire oven that is over heating. SOURCE: Erratic/slow heating

Hi, It sounds like you need to change the on=ven ignitor. Even tho it glows, it is weak and will not open the gas valve consistantly. It is a very common problem. Please let me know if I can assist you with part# or how to replace the part.

Thanks

SOURCE: My Frigidaire FEFL77ABF range oven gets too hot.

Hi

This means a loose/broken wire on the oven temp sensor or the oven temp. sensor itself is bad and should be replaced. To solve this issue test the oven temp. sensor, it should read between 1080-1120 ohms, if the rating is more then that and the door appears to be closing fine then it is the control board that is bad and should be replaced. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.

Gas oven doesn't get hot enough

Good Morning Friend,

I understand that your Frigidaire oven will not heat to temperature if you set it to 350 degrees. I see that you have to set it to 450 degrees for it to heat up, and then turn it back down to the desired temperature. Please try resetting your appliance, by either unplugging it or shutting the power off at your home's circuit breaker, for 3-5 minutes. Restore power, set the clock and try setting the temperature to 350 degrees. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your appliances status has changed successfully. Hope this is helpful.

-Best Regards-

Thermostat Sensor?

Typically it is the temp sensor inside oven. It is poking out between the top burner ends at the back of the oven.

Oven not heating up

Problem with oven sensor or control board (ERC). Oven sensor at room temperature should have resistance about 1080 Ohms, and it rises with temp rise.

Oven won't pre-heat

This is a failed oven temp sensor. the control is not receiving a proper resistance signal from this sensor at this time. the control will shut down the unit if this is the issue. check the oven temp sensors connections form the control to the sensor housing for loose or worn contacts, if the wiring is ok, replace the temp sensor.

Oven turn's on, keep's heatings at a higher temp.

This is failed communication between the EOC and the temp sensors located in the oven. i recommend testing the EOC(break point test on the pins) for its operational value and the temp sensors as well. replace any component that doesn't register.

I would also inspect the oven temp sensors for welded harness and fouled housings.

In most cases, this will be a EOC issue.
