Question about FUJIFILM Cameras

Fujifilm FinePix S1600 The monitor display is not working. Can it be replaced and if so how easy is it?

The noises are working but can't see what is going on. Is this a common problem?

It could be that you have it set for EVF which means that you are using the tiny view finder instead of the LCD screen? It should have a button close to the view finder labeled EVF/LCD, you can alternate between the LCD screen or the tiny viewfinder? This function if mainly to conserve battery power or if you are out in the sun and cannot frame a shot and so you use the view finder like the old cameras, hope this might help you?

Going to the menu and going on set up was easy but I still do not know what to set to get the display to stay on my screen.

On page 93 of the (english) manual it says how to setup the auto power off. you can choose for 2 minutes, 10 minutes or off. The longer the camera stays on, the shorter the battery works.
Check under the wrench symbol in the setup menu forth option.

My fujifilm finepix s1600 all of a sudden is not lettin me see on the lcd screen what picture i am going to take??? i have replaced the batterys and still no show???

hi Does it mean no power at all? So then you have 50 and 50 chance repair for just brown fuse or main pcb replacement. Your local repair shop would charge around $45 to 145 depend on what they really want to charge. Thanks and best regard!

I have a Finepix S1600 - it shows a message TURN OFF THE CAMERA AND TURN ON AGAIN. I try this but it doesn't work. Any ideas on what I can do? It's only about 18 months old. Thanks Julie

FUJIFILM FinePix S1600 digital camera. The lens fell out. How do I get it back in?

There is a locking ring that goes in front of the lens. Problem is when you put the lens back in, there was nitrogen in-between the the lens. Its there to keep anything growing in there. I worked on optics in the Army.

Camera freezes when using aperture and speed

Try updating the firmware. The update does not specificly mention this problem, but maybe it will help anyway.

Make sure your batteries are fresh before updating.

Fujifilm finepix F31fd. Some pictures have a ripple pattern of part of a circle imposed on them. Others are ok. Fault is seen when the pics are viewed in the camera as well as when uploaded.
