I am not receiving Email confirmation messages re articles purchased on Ebay

Problems Signing In?
If you're having problems signing in to eBay, check the following information for a possible solution:
Problem
Solution I forgot my password, user ID, or both. Forgot Password
Ask eBay to SEND PASSWORD to your email address. Enter your user ID and click 'Continue'. The email you receive will give you a link to reset your password.
Note: You may need to answer your secret question and at least one other question related to your account.
Forgot User ID
Ask eBay to SEND YOUR USER ID to your email address. Enter your email address and click 'Continue'. The email you receive will tell you your user ID and give you a link to reset your password if you need to do so.
If you have tried the instructions above but have not yet received an email from eBay, please:

• Check your bulk or junk email folders and filters to make sure they are not blocking eBay emails.
• Make sure your email inbox is not full. If it is, delete some email and then try the steps listed above again.

Note: If you receive an alert message that your user ID can't be verified, you may be asked to provide additional verification to confirm that you are the account holder. Follow the instructions in the alert message. I get a "Your sign-in information is not valid" message. Make sure that your Caps Lock key is off then try signing in again. If you still can't sign in, do the following:

• Ask eBay to SENDyour user ID to your email address.
• Ask eBay to send your password to your email address.

Note: eBay will send you information to the email address associated with your member account. You should receive a response within 24 hours, depending on your email system
Important: If you have bought an item as a guest you will not have an eBay user ID or password. You will need to register to obtain a valid user ID and password. My account has been suspended. See our information about suspended accounts. I got a message saying the page couldn't be displayed. This is often a temporary problem. Try signing in again. If you still receive the message, try the following:

• Make sure your browser is up to date. eBay uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology, which may not be supported by an older browser. You may need to upgrade your browser in order to sign in to eBay.
• Try deleting (clearing) your cookies and your browser's cache (also called temporary internet files).

Note: Cookies are small files placed on the hard drive of your computer, which eBay uses to provide you with services.
Cache is a local storage area on your computer where copies of images and web pages are kept for quicker viewing the next time you visit the same page. I received a message that says I need to enter a verification code. To help us maintain safety on eBay, eBay occasionally asks for an additional security check during sign in. If you get this message, type the code hidden in the image into the box, then click the Sign in button. If you can't see the image, click the "Listen to the verification code" link to go through an audio security check.

Looks like it could be a fraud. You need to talk to E-Bay directly about this. Here is a link to a simular incident:

Hi there! you don't have to worry about this. just send a quick message to the seller and tell them to file a cancel transaction case for you. they will send you a cancellation of transaction request. you will receive an email then you just to AGREE on the cancel transaction request. then that's it :)

Depending on whether or not the seller uses eBay checkout, the steps to complete payment are different. If your seller does not use eBay checkout, they will send you an invoice or other payment instructions to help you complete your purchase.

To pay for an item when the seller uses eBay checkout:

1. Link your PayPal and eBay accounts, if you haven't already done so.

2. After you've won an item, click the Pay Now button. You can find this button in the listing, in the Purchase History section of My eBay, and in the confirmation email that you receive from us.

3. Check your shipping address. If any information is incorrect, click the Change shipping address link to update it. (The seller may require a credit card billing address registered with PayPal, sometimes called a confirmed address.)

4. Confirm the order details, including shipping and taxes. Click the Continue button. (If you have questions about the total cost, click the Request total from seller link.)

5. Select PayPal as the payment method.

6. Enter your PayPal log in information. If you don't already have a PayPal account, you can sign up.

7. Make sure that your shipping details, payment method, and order details are correct.

8. Click the Confirm Your Payment button to complete your purchase.


To link your PayPal and eBay accounts:

1. Click My eBay at the top of most eBay pages.

2. Click the Account tab.

3. Click the "PayPal Account" link on the left side of the page.

4. Click the Link My PayPal Account button.

5. You'll be asked to log into PayPal to finish linking your accounts.

when you buy something (say from www.ebay.com), you receive via email -- a confirmation .
once you finish completing your order from that vendor (supplier) it will automatically direct you to pay for the item using your choice of payment, in this case your paypal account. At this stage you will be asked to log in . Once signed into paypal, via that supplier website, it will ask you to confirm your order and pay for it -- it takes your money from your credit card of from your bank account. Its very safe and it's simple. it takes 10-20 seconds to confirm the purchase.

Usually, when a website wants to verify your email account, they will send you an email with a link to click on or a code to enter somewhere on their website. If you did not receive this email, check your spam folder.

Be careful. This may be a phishing email. I don't believe eBay cares how much activity you generate. That's money for them.

Ebay will have your user name and email address on their emails. If it is not showing, delete it.

Best thing to do is to log in to your eBay, go to "My Ebay" and check your messages. If it is a legitimate concern you will have a message about it.

Looks like you haven't completed your registration with eBay that's why you're being asked for a confirmation code. If that's the case, you need to contact a Live Help agent from eBay in order for them to check the status of your account. If your account is a Guest Account, they're going to give you a link for you to complete the registration, but if you have registered under the eBay express which is no longer available, there's no way for you to complete the registration process, so you need to re-register using another User ID and email address.
