Just bought a wharfedale DIP95 mini hifi but it has no manual and I can't find a way to set the time it's bugging me please help

So the speakers are working but the mini hifi is not generating any sound to them. Replace the mini hifi, keep the speakers.

This may help. If it's not the exact model you have it will at least get you started as subwoofers are pretty much teh same for connection and operation.

Hi, This may sound silly but check that there are NO blemishes( read fingerprints) on the disc surface as just about every player I know of will take execption to these - clean disc again just to be sure.
While you say the staff member has checked the unit, they dont always give them a "soak test" and often these types of fault go unnoticed. verify with another known disc to be sure and if the problems still exists, then you may have a temperamental or aged unit.
Please note - there are many pieces of s**t out there so best buy a new unit of a reputable brand when it comes to this kind of technology.

If you have an output function at the back of your mini HIFI then surely you can.What you need is a Dual RCA [from the mini HIFI] to 3.5 mm Stereo Jack [to the PC]. The cable is easily available in the market...go to this site n you'll get the idea http://www.vpi.us/cable-audio.html
