I have a IC-756pro and the cat system won't work? Is it something easy to fix or only the factery

Tryed hooking to ham radio deluxe

Icom radios are particularly problematic for HRD. I would urge you to read the instructions here. http://www.ham-radio-deluxe.com/hrdrigcontrol.pdf There are special instructions for Icom radios.

You have to modify this radio to operate outside of the HAM bands. You will likely find the modification at www.mods.dk. This is a pretty common and easy modification for HAM radios. Your performance may not be as good as in the HAM bands.

You do this MOD at your own risk. If you are not licensed for operation on ANY frequency or band, you are not legally allowed to transmit. Heavy fines may be levied against you.

Ham radio deluxe dont read frecuency
I used to run HRD before Simon sold the rights to the software to a guy in Florida. He now charges for the software. Since your question has been posted recently, I assume you're running the paid version. I suggest you contact customer support. Alternately, you can also go to QRZ. com and join their forum and ask your question there. The new owner of this software frequents that forum . Good luck!

My 857 receives fine, but when I key the mic it turns off. The 857 works fine on HF both receiving and transmitting.
I would have a look at the FT-857's extended service menu by holding in A, B, C buttons and pressing power button for a couple seconds. The default setttings are on the mods.dk website. Should also ensure regular menu settings are correct/appropriate. I can tell you that it is possible to change extended menu settings by getting RFI into radio. Also, although unlikely, it sounds like you could inadvertently have done a write to the radio's EEPROM, which can be determined by using a program such as Ham Radio Deluxe, a CAT cable, and procedures also posted on mods.dk website under how to open radio up for 60m, ext tx/rx, without any hardware mods. As to whether you can do all this while still mounted mobile,,,,,maybe with a laptop? Good luck, Link, WV4I....

PB360D radio speakers don't work
if you have short, maybe your have a IC amp short inside. You must go to the repair shop for fix it. The speaker you can test in another system.

Icom 756pro power switch not powering down
Hi,

You seem to have a bit of a problem here, but do not fear.

May I suggest the following: join yahoo group specific to your radio Make/Model, where you will receive expert info from professional people in the field. Plus you can down load manuals, diagrams and software, just to name a few things, freely.

Is there a way that my 9537 control can be modified to connect to my computer so that my Amateur Radio program (Ham Radio Deluxe) will turn my rotor to the direction of the station I want to contact? Bill...
There is a software program call proximus that will allow you to control your IR receiver with the necessary remote codes for the 9537. it\'s a pain to figure out . but it does work. I use mine with Orbitron satellite tracking software to follow Ham radio satellites.
