need more info, what year, make, model, engineering.
just because the owners manual says.there is a block heater, that doesn't mean you have one
look around, try to find a short power cord that you would plug into a extension cord, also look at the engine block, look.at all your freeze plugs, this is where most block heaters go, if you do not see anything in.any of the freeze plugs, then.you do not have one
the other kind of engine heater, would be in the top or bottom radiator hoses, or even.heat core hoses, again.there would be.a.cord.to.plug into.
most of the time, they would pull the cord up to the front, by the grill, so you can plug it in
Your computer is coming on, but your screen is out and you just cant tell. You should see light come on and hear a few noises from the cd drive and hard drive.
Your power supply is bad (the corded thinggy)
Your battery is bad and has damaged the cord too.
The plug in the back of the computer is damaged (Possibly from a bad battery melting the connector)
You computer has lightning/surge damage and is just broken
The motherboard has failed completely
First, test the simple things.
Remove your battery and try to start with only the cord.
Check the plug that the power supply plugs into. Is it loose does it wiggle? It may need replaced/repaired
Plug the power cord back in and wiggle do any of the light flicker? This may confirm step 2.
Take your computer to a simple repair shop and see if they have a power supply you can try. REMOVE your battery first. If it works, great! Get the power supply.
If none of these are the problem, leave the computer at the repair place for them to look at. There are a few other problems, but you probably cant check those yourself.
If you are looking at the back of the printer, just to the right of the USB port is where the power cable goes. ( o o ) <--- Kinda looks like that but vertical, not horizontal as I drew it. Hope this helps.
i have a l32wd22 rca -----went out -- the plug from the power cord to the power supply [ a two prong jack on the side of power supply was loose]
i bent the pins slightly then plug it back in and also taped it in place---now it works fine
the fuse is located in the cigarette lighter plug, at the end you will see a silver cap and then the disk that goes over the top of it, that will turn and then you will have the front open to replace the glass fuse that is in it... to find the fuse size, after the fuse is out look at the silver ends it will have the size stamped on it... it might be a 40 amp fuse. or 20 amp. just look at the silver sides on the fuse you will find that there... hope this helps you out
This same thing is happening with my acer laptop. I sent it to the company about 3 months ago, and it happened again. I really need my laptop and cant take a month without it. I advise sending it in to be fixed to your laptop company. Good luck (:
