Do you mean the Brother SE625 embroidery machine? If so, you can import .PES embroidery files using a USB flash drive. See the specifications here: https://www.brother-usa.com/products/se625 . If you have an embroidery design in a different format, you will need to use software to convert the file to the PES format. (This
can include third-party embroidery software, Embird. Since the SE625 doesn't communicate directly with a computer, it did not come with any software. Thus you'll need to purchase the embroidery software separately.)

Note: not all USB drives will work with the SE625. You need a 32GB drive or smaller. See https://download.brother.com/welcome/doch101019/usbmedia_888m00_m02_m03_m04_m20_m30_m31_m36_m37_en_r19-05.pdf for known compatible USB drives.

If you are trying to view the designs on a computer then you need an embroidery software of some type. Computers do not come with software capable of reading embroidery designs. Brother embrother use what is called a PES format.

.pes - A stitch-based file format used by Brother and Babylock embroidery home sewing machines. .pec - A stitch-based file format used by Brother and Babylock embroidery home sewing machines. .hus - The stitch-based file format used by Husqvarna/Viking embroidery home sewing machines.

The .exp format is a commercial format while .art is a BERNINA-specific embroidery format. Embroidery designs in .art format keep their fancy fill effects even after rescaling the designs whereas the effects may be lost when editing .exp format files on the machine.

You can read and write the embroidery design to the Brother .PES file format with the 4D Embroidery software. Check with your Brother sewing machine manual to determine how to transfer the file between the computer and the sewing machine. PE Design versions require certain OS'es, later versions work on newest WIndows 8. The PE Design software requires the right operating system and a CARD READER that also serves as a security device which allows the software to work.

Sometimes embroidery files download in ZIP format.Check your download folder, and double click on the downloaded file. windows shoukd extract it into a folder of its own. open that folder and the .pes files should be in it. Then open the Brother program to access that folder with the .pes files.

First you need your 4D software installed on your computer (or which ever version you are using). Insert the DVD into your drive. Then open your embroidery program and then click File and Open. When the new window opens, search for your DVD drive then find the embroidery you want and click Open. The embroidery yoiu chose should open in your embroidery program with the hoop displayed on the screen. Then save the embroidery under a new name in your embroidery design folder on your computer. Then insert your USB into your computer, Open Disk Manager and Read your USB. Then click on one of the empty squares and then click File then Open. In the new window find the embroidery file you saved under a new name on your computer and choose it. It should show up in the empty square you clicked on. Then Write to your USB. Now you are ready to move your USB to your machine and the embroidery should be there. Hope this helps. Good luck.
