I lost the manual for oven,
I need to know how to use the selfcleaning i pushed the cleaning button.it comes on but shuts off.so there has to be more to it...thank you for any help you can give

During self clean the oven controller locks the door to ensure one does not accidentally open the door and get insured due to high temperature. The door lock mechanism is unlocked once the temperature comes to normal when self clean is complete. In your case the controller is still sensing high temperature but the door lock mechanism has been released. This could mean the controller is detecting incorrect signal. Try to turn the mains power to oven off and back on. If this does not make a difference then you need to check the temperature sensor or worst the controller needs to be checked.
As I do not have the model number of the oven it is hard to give further diagnostic information.
You generally have to wait for the unit to cool down before the door will unlock. If you waited both times for more than an hour then during the selfclean cycle the control board was porbably damaged. Try shutting the unit off at the breakerbox for your home and wait 1 to 3 minutes.

Latch the oven door shut and locked..then select the oven cleaning feature and let it go.. it shouldn't unlock until it has cooled down to a safe level and you'll probably smell the grease burning off for a while.. Hope this helps..

You don't need to type in the whole model number. For example, if the model number (found in the upper left when you open the oven door) is RSE37BAW*4, you only need to enter RSE37BA.
How do I clean my jenn-air double oven when I lock oven door and turn oven to clean mode set time to start I don't get anything. Also when I lock the oven door the oven lock light does not come on.
