Do you see the icon in your taskbar on the bottom? If so you should be able to right click on the Google screen and choose minimize or restore. I assume you may have used two monitors at once before?

How can I move the screen 2" to the left?

Auto Adjust will do the trick.

Other ways is connecting it to a pc and use the video card features and new drivers to adjust screen size and position. Watch for the resolution supported

Screen on side

You can use the desktop toolbar on your computer to help you navigate around your computer, gaining access to programs and files. You may have previously moved the toolbar to the side of your desktop intentionally or accidentally. You can move the toolbar back to its original position at the bottom of the screen and lock it in place to prevent it from being accidentally moved in the future.

Right-click on the toolbar at the side of your desktop with your mouse. Locate the "Lock the toolbar" option in the drop-down menu. If it has a tick next to it, this means it is secured in place. Left-click on the button with your mouse to unlock the toolbar. Left-click on the toolbar, and drag it to the bottom of the screen. Right-click on the toolbar, and select "Lock the toolbar" to fix the toolbar in place at the bottom of the screen. Hope this helps.

My Viewsonic 2235 monitor only shows the desktop top on 70% of the upper screen. It was fine and I ran Paretologic. When I rebooted, the screen images are egg shaped or stretched out side to side. ...

If you have an Auto Adjust option on your monitor, press that and it should adjust the screen to the correct size.
The button should be on the panel or it might be a setting in the monitor settings itself.

Hope that helps

Cant see right side of screen

If your kiddo "tinkered" on the keyboard, then it would look like the screen resolution or refresh rate was changed. The refresh rate is found under the display Advanced ---> Adapter ----> List all modes. Common refresh rates are 60, 72, 75, 85 and so forth, measured in hertz. These values are paired with the screen rssolutions, 800 x 600, 1024 x 768 and so forth. Selecting one of these modes will hopefully get you back to seeing the full display. Some video card driver/utility software has the capability of actually adjusting horizontal position left or right. This adjustment should also be accessed in the display properties. If the kiddo tinkered with the monitor buttons, then you must access the particular adjustment having to do with display horizontal width and horizontal position. One of the buttons gets you into the menu mode, another to the proper adjustment selection, from there two buttons are used to increase or decrease width, or move display left, move display right.

Screen Adjustment

On your monitor at the bottom there is 3 buttons. The one all the way to the left is the "menu" button. The next one (going right) is the "NEGATIVE" button. The next one (going right) is the "POSITIVE" button.

You can move your screen around. First, start by pressing the menu button. Then, a menu in blue, with a bunch of little white icons will appear. Next, go over two icons by pressing the positive button twice. Then, proceed to push in the "menu" button again. A bar will appear. By pressing your negative button, your screen will move left. Pressing your positive button will make your screen move right. Adjust your screen until the black on both sides are of even proportion. Then, press the menu button to return to the orginal menu you started at. Proceed to press your positive button two more times. Then, press your menu button. Then, once again, use your positive button, and your negative button to adjust your screen to even out the black on the top and bottom.
