How do I reset the washing program ? I tried to change the washing cycle and it would not run. Now I cannot return to the original washing cycle.

The machine was operating well on my normal cycle. I then tried to change the cycle to a quick wash and it didn't work. I ended up pushing all the buttons with no result. I've now got it with just the "Start" button illuminated, but there is just a low hum from the machine and it does not start the programme.

Unplug the power then plug it in again. Now select the program you wish to run and start it. Make sure the door is well shut.

Beko WMB81242LW stuck on spin cycle

If your Beko WMB81242LW washing machine is stuck on the spin cycle and won't change programs, here are a few things you can try:
  1. Check the door: Make sure the door is properly closed and latched, as this can sometimes cause the machine to get stuck in one cycle.
  2. Reset the machine: Unplug the machine from the power source for a few minutes and then plug it back in. This will reset the machine and may clear the issue.
  3. Check the control panel: Make sure the control panel buttons are working properly and not stuck in one position.
  4. Check the control board: The control board could be the cause of the issue, especially if your machine is 6 years old. A malfunctioning control board can prevent the machine from changing cycles.
If these steps don't work, it's best to have a professional repair the machine

Speed queed sc40 will not drain keeps washing

It sounds like your controls are malfunctioning -- getting stuck in one cycle. If the machine is old and uses an electromechanical timer control you'll have to replace it. If it uses modern electronic controls, try unplugging the machine from the power socket, waiting 5 minutes, and plugging it back in. Often that returns the controls to their original program. If that doesn't work, it's time for a service call.

Program selected ie 40c and washing machine starts. Appears to stop after the wash cycle, machine does not have water in it. The time which had moved down to around 48mins returns to start time 125mins....

It seems there is not accepting cold water on wash . The solenoid for the wash is probably open circuit. Check the solenoids with a meter for continuity. I bet you will find one open circuit. Then you can go get a new one and replace it. Might also be the pressure sensor failure, but that is not consistent with a successful rinse cycle. Make and model would have helped ..... Cheers

IT IS STUCK , IT JUST HUMMS ,CYCLE DOES NOT START

I PULLED THE DISHWASHER OUT FROM UNDER MY KITCHEN TOP. THEN TRIED IT AGAIN AND IT STARTED WORKING. WATER WAS ENTERING THE MACHINE AS IT SHOULD AND THE WHOLE CYCLE WAS COMPLETED FROM WASHING TO DRYING. BUT WITH THE ODD RATTLING SOUND NOT COOMING FROM DISHES. I ASSUME THE INLET PIPE WAS PROBABLY BENT THEREFORE BLOCKING WATER COMING IN BUT WHY NOW AFTER YEARS OF BEING IN THAT POSITION. THE OTHER THING I CHANGED WAS THE ELECTRIC SOCKET POINT- IE I PLUGGED IT IN SOMEWHERE ELSE BECAUSE MOVING IT MEANT THE LEAD COULD NOT REACH ORIGINAL SOCKET. HOPEFULLY WHEN I RETURN IT TO ORIGINAL POSITION EVERYTHING WILL BE WORKING. FUNNY THING HAPPENED THE WEEK BEFORE- MY WASHING MACHINE WAS STUCK IN MIDDLE OF A CYCLE . BUT STARTED WORKING THE FOLLOWING DAY. COULD IT BE MY ELECTRICITY PERHAPS - IE MY APPLIANCES ARE NOT RECEIVING ENOUGH CURRENT?

NEFF S5456 DISHWASHER

Have you tried it on a different program? I have nearly always used the AUTO program - however i have used the 50 degree program 3 times now and it completes the (much longer) wash without sticking on one minute. Will try it on auto again to see what happens. I found it useful to turn the end-of-wash buzzer on (to loud) to remind me when (if) it completes the program.
