It's not an emissions code. It regulates air going into the engine for combustion. 'Emissions' is what comes out at the exhaust end after combustion and emitted (emission) into the air we breathe.
My guess would be to look at the secondary air pump, they are often the failure point for this error code... take some time to look at the pump (front passenger side of engine) look for cracked lines... check for power before you replace.
This code is for the transmission stepper motor/circuit. It controls fluid pressures using solenoids. It will not shift if there is a problem with this motor or its circuit
Here are sections of factory repair manual . Read up on C.A.N . U 1000 an U1001 one of the modules is having a problem on the wiring for the C.A.N bus is . You can check at the DLC with a volt meter .
you might need to check the battery. make sure there is a good connection to the battery, clean of any corrosion on battery tips, I use a small piece of sand paper.
your going to have to get the car in the air . there should be a small rubber tube passenger side right about where your feet would rest.somtimes you can use a coat hanger to clear the tube
Exchange #4 coil with #2 coil,clear code, start vehicle and re check
for codes. If the code indicates a problem in #2 cylinder we will need to
replace coil. Replace coil,test drive vehicle and confirm repair. GOOD
