There should be a confirmation code to whatever device you're pairing it too.

and then type that code in.

you get the code on a compatible device. for example, pairing on your youtube app on your cell phone will give you a code to put in. usually devices pair by themselves though.

That's the code you enter into one of the YouTube apps to pair the app with your TV or vice-versa.

If you are connecting to Bluetooth headset, check the manual of Headset to find default pairing code.
If you are connecting to other mobile phone or laptop, you have to enter any pairing code you want and then enter the same pairing code to other mobile or laptop and both devices will be paired.

There is no default pairing code for the phone. You have to enter any pairing code and then enter the same pairing code in other device.
However, if you are trying to pair Bluetooth headset, check the headset manual to find its default pairing code.

It is a passkey to allow further communication between both devices. It is normally entered just once. Already paired devices communicate with each other, provided that their bluetooth stacks are turned on. You can enter any number you want as pairing code, provided that it is the same one on both your phone and your computer. By the way, the most commonly used code for bluetooth pairing is '0000' (four zeros).

firstly you need to go to settings / paired devices & delete any old pairings, the go to settings / pair with phone and it will give you a code to enter. Now search for bluetooth devices on your phone and enter the code when prompted.

Go to settings/ pair with phone/ other phones. it will then give you the code to use, then search for new paired device from your phone, when it finds parrot, click pair and enter code shown on parrot screen. Make sure you delete all other paired devices from parrot first. instructions can be found at parrot.com

With the headset off, press and hold the multifunction key until continuously lit. Search for the headset with your phone. Select the headset, and enter passcode 0000. If the pairing is successful, the indicator light on the headset will start to flash slowly.
