Panasonic phone no dial tone. Picture of telephone pole on screen. What's going on?

You may have bad batteries or charger. Personally I would replace phone and not look back

You can not change the ring tone on the KX-T2378JXW. You can adjust the ring volume for either line by using the switches on the right hand side of the phone. Are you sure that the problem is your phone and not the telephone service? Did you check your line with another phone?

If it's the phone, in most cases repair it is more expensive then a new device

The KX-TGA470 is an accessory handset. It uses whatever answering machine or voicemail system you have on your telephone line. Please refer to the documentation for that answering machine or voicemail system.

If that pulsating tone is anything like what I sometimes here on my phone, then it has nothing to do with your phone. It's your telephone company telling you that there's unheard voicemail on their system. You'll need to contact your telephone service provider for instructions on how to access their voicemail system.

I'm going to take a chance here, because we don't have them. The au brochure says you have 8 tones, so try pressing Program, the button twice (be it intercom or a CO button), then dial 01-08 and STORE. By default, digital phones already ring 01 tone. You have to do this for each line and each phone to make it work.

is your line provider ok.connect your line to ordinary phone to check if there is really a dial tone from the line provider.if there is a dial tone please let the analog board be cheked by a technician near you
