I own a couple of those CoolPix cameras - great little cameras. I assume you installed the Coolpix software, and that you've checked for a bad cable. Next think to try is just remove the SD/MMC chip and put it in your computer to see if it can read it OK, verifying that the memory chip is OK. Note that you will NOT be using the Coolpix software: Go to My Computer and it will normally appear in your listing as "Removable Media" or the like, with its own drive letter (like E:\ for example) Just click on it and browse around.

If this is not what's happening, please write back and let us know what you've done so far and will give our best effort to help you.

You will need the usb cable to connect your camera to your pc and when you connect them the software should install either automatically or if the camera came with a cd you will need to insert the cd and install the software yourself then when you open the program that was installed it should give you an option to view the photos or to sync them with the pc and if this is not the case when you connect the camera if you open my computer there should be another drive where you see your C: drive

I m unable to connect my camer with win8 lapi please suggest me for this

Try NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Nikon Transfer or Windows Photo Gallery.

The camera won't read the memory card's latest

Your friends Camera has stored the photos taken on it differently to your camera which means it is unable to read them. Digital Cameras are not as "smart" as computers. The best thing to do is to copy the photos off the card and then format it in your camera which will the "reset" the card and will alllow your camers to use it

Hope this helps

How do you get to the photo album???????

Connect the usb cable between the camera and the computer. Make sure the camer is off. After you connect the camera to the computer, then you can turn on the cameral. Go to My computer and you will see all the drives. Look for VTech 773. Double click on the drive and you will see a PHOTO folder, pictures will be there. Remember: if your using an SD card, then you will see that under removable drives. Your pictures could be there too.

Try installing or reinstalling the software on the CD ROM that came with the camera.

I cant upload my pictures

Most likely a computer problem, requiring a computer person to investigate. Good idea to bring camera to someone else's computer to try a USB plug-in to read pictures/video. That would identify if problem is Camera or computer. I have no problems with mine on several computers tried. Camers appears like a memory key in 'My_Computer' called 'E:' .
all luck, G-M
