I changed out the Tcon, no change. I swapped the t-con ribbon cables, no change. I unplugged one ribbon, pure white on that side, no black line across. Tried different inputs. On the blue screen upon startup it isn't there? On snowy screen it is. ugh
If this is done with every input of your tv and also with tv channels this means a bad circuitboard .You can find on ebay one and mod it yourself. Its not such a difficult thing.

Yes . There is one mainboard on the tv. I have bery big experience in fixing laptops and one with this problemm needed replace on the lcd mainboard that is the one responsible for sceen good working.

The unit has bad drive ic's,which is part of the lcd panel.It is not cheap to fix.

Unfortunately the LCD panel would need to be replaced. Even if there is not any signs of damage to the outside portion of the panel, one of the inner screens may have been fractured. I am not sure if the panel would be available because if i'm not mistaken Sharp just started making replacement panels.

Try different source like VCR, DVD, or satellite to see if it is the source thats bad. Check to see all your connections are on good and tight. If still no luck, then your tele is fu.k.d and you got bad LCD crystals or faulty inverter. Take the thing back to the store for exchange or refund if your within your 30 day window. Call the manufacturer if your within your 1 year window.

If pixels are gone on all channels - Exchange it
Can't fix it yourself unless you are tv technician
It is quite common for few pixels to be dead but that is usualy not noticable
