SOURCE: GE Adora Front Load Washing Machine Problem

I had a similar problem...with the added issue of the door not locking at all. I cleaned the filter and all is well. However, it took me hours to find the 3 screws everyone was talking about The screws are at the very bottom of the washer, under the lip, facing front. If your machine sits on a pedestal drawer like mine, they are located between the machine and the pedestal. I hope these pics save someone a little time...

Did you get any error codes on the control panel? this sounds funny but have you cleaned the trap out? You have to clean the trap of the washer every so often (it is not mentioned in the manual. You take off the front bottom panel and you will see a round trap door to the right turn it and pull out and you can clean the trap make sure you put a pan under because water will come out as well. When the trap is full the cycles won't run. Usually this happens when there is water in the machine but lets try this anyway. Before you try this, unplug the machine, let it sit several minutes and plug back in, see if this helps before removing the filter trap.dcramer531_4.jpgdcramer531_5.jpg

SOURCE: We have a Bosch Nexxt 100 Series Washer. The door

Getting the door open is the easy part. Finding out why it won't open might take a little doing -- though replacing the door latch is also easy. To get the door open, Take an awl or something pointy and place it in the hole on the small round cover in the lower left front of the machine. Now use this to turn the cover, unscrewing it from the machine. Once the cover is off, you should see a plastic rod hanging down. Pull this rod and it will unlock the door. You can now remove your wet clothes from the machine and investigate the cause of the problem.

SOURCE: bosch front loader washing machine door not opening

The door will not open if the machine detects excess water in it. Run the drain or spin cycle to check if water is being expelled. If necessary check the pump filter for obstructions and the outlet hose for blockages. If this does not work you may have a problem with the pressure system, the door lock itself or a crack or break in the handle and it is not catching the lock mechanism, let me know if this helps or if you need further assistance.

My wife hit pause during the wash cycle to remove BBs from my sons pocket. She opened the door removed the BBs closed the door and hit Play/Start when she got the error E27. I have unplugged the unit for...

  1. Hold down the "Allergy rinse" button, "Spin Selection" button at the same time.
  2. Turn the Wash selection knob to the left on "Cold". Result: You should see different codes flashing on screen, this is resetting the machine's error, and is exactly what we want.
  3. After a few seconds turn Wash selection knob to "Off".
  4. Turn machine back on.
Result: Your mashine should work

Have a BOSCH 300/500 series washing machine. showing E27 error code. WHAT is it? Why don't they provide error codes?

The door locking mechanism has malfunctioned and/or is overheating. It is recommended that remove power from the appliance (unplug it) for 30 minutes and try again. If the problem persist, you will need to replace the door lock assembly.

Water is not coming into my Maytag dishwasher.

Hi,
Is the door open or unlatched?Make sure the door is completely closed and latched. On models with a dual-digit display, the control displays "- -" during a cycle if the door is not latched. Check for obstructions (spoons or utensils), that may be interfering with the door operation. A lower dish rack that is installed backward will also cause incomplete door closure. The lights for cycles selected will flash if the door is opened while running a cycle.
Is there power to the dishwasher?Check your household electrical box to see if a fuse has blown or if the circuit breaker has tripped. If the unit has a plug-in power cord, make sure it is plugged in.
Does your dishwasher have a rotary timer knob? The cycle selection must match the position of the timer knob. Turn the timer knob to the beginning of the preferred cycle. The timer knob should click when you reach the start of the cycle.
Is the control lock option activated?
The indicator light next to the lock graphic will illuminate when the controls are locked. Press and hold the Heated Dry option (button with lock icon) for three seconds and the light should turn off. Instructions are also placed on the label on top of the inner door to unlock the controls.
Is the delay start option activated? To cancel the delay and cycle, press Start/Cancel twice.
Is the water shutoff valve turned on?Make sure that the water shutoff valve is turned on.

Frigidaire F/L Washer - Delay Start will not reset?

I had this EXACT problem this morning and ended up calling the Sears Home Central Team out (I have an extended maintenance agreement). This is an error code that CAN BE RESET by the end user (you and me!) and doesn't need a repairmain. Here's what you do:

PRESS AND HOLD the START and CANCEL BUTTONS.
The four lights above the START button will begin to flash.
Continuing holding the START and CANCEL button and "spin" your wash selector knob to "SPIN".
Release the START and CANCEL buttons and Press the START button.
This will RESET the error codes within the system and allow you to "cancel out" of the DELAY START.

IF the error codes are "bad ones", then the system will stay locked and you'll need to call a repairman; however, this "fix" should work for MOST of the routine system error codes.

Worked on mine and we're a happy washing family once again!!
