How do you "unfreeze" a champion c9 wrist watch?

to change the battery in a champion watch:
(1) remove the back, (2) carefully peel loose the foam strip and set it aside (3) release the battery retaining bracket with a needle or awl and tweezers, (4) grasp the case with your thumb and forefinger so that your thumb is holding the works inside the case, (5) turn the watch over and the battery should fall out (6) put the new battery in the holder, (7) snap the retaining bracket back in place (8) replace the foam strip (9) replace the back

Since you don\'t know how to turn it off, the alarm will give you simple instructions. Just stop pressing the buttons. Is there a symbol or an alarm or clock on any of the buttons?

Hold the bottom right button (lap/reset) until it beeps and comes up with "SET". The bottom left button (mode) will alternate between what you are increasing (Hour, minute, month, day, ect) and the top right (start/stop) will increase it by one (hold to make it go faster). When done, just hit the bottom right button again.

Get to the alarm screen by pressing the mode button as many times as you need to. At the alarm screen, a short press on the lap-reset button toggles the chime on and off. Don't press and hold the lap-reset button: that toggles between alarm 1 and alarm 2.

If there are no reactions to any buttons, reset the

wrist unit by pressing all the buttons

simultaneously for two seconds. All other settings
except time and date will be saved.

How do I turn the Heart Rate function on and off on my watch? Within the Date and Time screen, if the heart icon is showing, the heart rate function is on. To turn off the heart rate function, simply hold the Reset button until the heart icon goes away.

On the C9 Fast Wrap Strap digital watch, press and hold the "LAP/RST" button until the display shows "SET" then release. Use the "MODE" button to switch between second, minute, hour, etc. Use the "ST/STP" button to change. Press and release the "LAP/RST" button to exit. The Sportline might be the same or similar.
