First off have you dropped the phone or had any trauma to the screen? If so, even if not, what it is is that while you're screen is not cracked the (I guess you would call it ) LED lights under your screen has been damaged in some way. The only thing you can do to fix this is to change your screen out. That means taking it to a phone repair shop to fix it. However, basically your LED panel under your screen is cracked.

what im thinking is that 1. you might neeed to buy a new screen or 2. the LCD ribbon might of smuggled out. but i think more about having to buy a new screen

Try removing the modular test circuit from the inside it and replacing it with a new one. it may just be a loose connection? you should find it under the slot for the chrger and headphones at the top.
