How do I delete my messages off my sim card all at the same time instead of one at a time?

I keep getting an message that my SIM card is full. Currently the only way I know how to delete is one message at a time. There has to be a easier way.

You don't specify which model of phone you have, so it's hard to help you.
Some phones have an option to clear/empty the incoming box before you enter the inbox, some other have a menu options for a given message, like REPLY, FORWARD, DELETE, QUOTE, DELETE ALL etc.
You have to check patiently, most phones offer this option.
You can also put the phone make and model in the comment box below, so someone can give you more precise instructions for your specific phone.

On my nokia 6720c is one problem, there's always flashing message sign in the right corner, because of it the batterie is low very soon, what do I have to do about it?

Please try the following solution:

1. You may just have an unread SMS from your last phone that is still saved on your SIM card. To check, goto Messaging>Options>SIM messages.

2. SIM card's message memory is full. Delete messages from the SIM card. Goto Messaging>Options>SIM messages

3. Phones messaging memory is full. Try deleting messages, also checking in, Sent and drafts.

3. Even though all your messages may be marked as read, just going down through the list and opening them all again one by one have also been known to resolve this issue. This could take some time but is worth a try if you do not want to delete any messages.

Vortex --when I try to send a text I get the message "phone storage is full- delete some files to free space." I've deleted all messages and still can't send. Don't text nearly enough...

Most phones have both internal memory and the sim card is a memory on its on. You might have the function to keep a copy of sms in sim as well. So you need to enter the sim memory and delete those SMS's

Hi I have a Samsung Corby S3650 and I keep getting the same messages from people who have messaged me, over and over again. what should i do to stop that???

This problem is generally seen when messages get stored on the sim card. generally sim cards have space for 20-30 msgs before phone memory gets occupied. I would recommend you to keep your sim card memory full always (as in keep some msgs permanently on the sim without deleting). To check memory usage, go to main menu-> messages -> memory status-> text messages (from top right drop down). The second row shows sim card memory status

My home screen shows a flashing envelope icon even though my sim contacts memory is nowhere near full

This icon indicates that the SIM card's own text message storage is full. This doesn't actually cause problems on the 5800 because it stores its messages in the phone's own memory, but the envelope can look a bit annoying.
To get rid of the flashing envelope:

1. On the standby screen press the white menu button.

2. Select "Messaging"

3. Select "Options"

4. Select "SIM Messages"

5. Delete some or all of the messages from the SIM messages folder using the Options menu.

Saving messages to memory card.

well sms can not be saved to the memory card unless they are msgs that came from your service provider and not any friends.
