Depends on the model, most of them you take a putty knife and disengage the clips to lift the top located between the top and front panel, then you can remove the screw on each side and lift the front off, If it is old you then have to remove the drum support frame and the remove the belt from the motor and idler pulley and then lift the drum out. You did not leave a model so this is kind of in general. Good luck and always unplug before servicing.
