Why when I phone some one I can hear them but they cant heat me

get your ear piece and mouth piece changed.

one of 2 things:

1. your microphone is set to MUTE and you don't know it (could be either a Profile setting or an explicit MUTE setting)

2. your microphone is BROKEN

You need to specify what type of phone it is, and what you did before it stopped working.

They cant hear you most probably because your mic is disconnected. Nothing serious as such things do happen with slightest of jerks to the phone. Like, your throwing it on to your bed may sometimes be bad enough to disconnect any thing as the connections are very delicate due to paucity of space. Do you have necessary tools to open the phone. Yes? Then open it and solder the mic connections. And close the phone. No? Then you will have to go to the Service center of Motorola and get it done there. Also, if your phone is still under warranty, you must go to the service center because if you do it yourself then the warranty may become null and void.

Go to systems "Phone" and make sure that TTY/TTD mode is not turned on. This can cause the phone to have the symptoms you describe.

has your phone been left in extreme heat, or been in an a/c enviroment and taken out in heat.

if left in heat it will damage it

if taken from cold to hot it could have moisture inside

remove battery and leave open in a/c

u need to check if the wires to the speaker are ok

My brother had experienced the same thing, too so I suggest you bring your phone to your local technician. I think it's the phone's speaker that has a problem. Hope this helps...

just go to the expert technician or go to show room... may be the water has entered to speakers also if possible try drying up it by hair drier if u r afraid means(remember cellphones must be switched off & battery must be remove dnt heat ur cell phone do it by removing panels only by hair drier by mild hot air) go to show room they will do it if not possible they change the speakers...
