Check and replace damaged component/s at its horizontal scan output section circuit. Check the LOT (Line Output Transformer) too for damage. Replace the horizontal scan output transistor. Should go off. If they have a delay then they can stay on for as much as 5 mins but then you should see a delay knob to change the time . If they won't turn off ever you have a bad short in the wire harness. You may have a bad relay also.

The instrument clusters in these trucks are really computer with analog read outs driven by an IC chip. They have been recalled for these types of problems by the factory in many C/K truck models. Call the dealer and ask if your model and year is in the recall.

Radio will not work when i start engine but will when key is turned on

Does your car have a factory amp in it? If so then it needs a delay to the power wire because it is going into protection. Also could be the your holding the switch to long trying to start the car.

if your dvd player has no any power indicator at the front, the first place to be checked will be the power supply. look for a blown fuse bad component parts like shorted diode and an open resistance.

When i turn on receiver JVC rx-6032v it says overload

Overload indicates a short in the audio output semiconductors, check speaker wires for shorts, if okay! you will need a professional to assess cost to replace outputs.

Generally speaking, an amp attempts to protect itself from heat, shorts, overloads and operator exuberance by refusing to turn on or stay on.

Overloads can be from excessive periods of high output or marginally low impedance loading by the speakers; and shorts would be wiring issues or a speaker blowing up.

Audio: hearing everything twice

you have a delay time on your home theater JVC, that is normal. So it's either you reduce the delay time of your JVC or do not use the TV sound. Set the delay time of your DSP so you can heqar the sound you wish... like the delay time of your surrond.

On timer light on

do you see a horizantal line across the screen before the set goes off. if you do, you have a problem with the virtical ic. it has to be changed. let me know if you see the line across the screen and I will show you what to do

JVC - DX5 Mini DV/HDD/DVD player recorder. I have two of these machines and both are now down. The blue elongated LED just flashes. There is a motor idling inside the machine, but the DVD & miniDV trays will not open when their buttons are pressed. Just like the blue LED, the message on the front panel just flashes loading, nothing more.
