Nokia 5630 restarts when attending calls+Voice recorder to memory cards not works

when you go to voice recording check first the storage to be used either phone memory or memory card storage.... set it to memory card storage in order to increase the time of voice recording..

The phone has problems in the software, possible errors in the software. Also some files in the memory can be faulty and result in hanging the phone So to reset remove the battery and the memory card from the phone. Using your PC , scan the memory card for any corrupt files or media files with virus- it is possible when they are downloaded from unsafe sites. If so remove or format the card. Now replace the card and battery and switch on the phone. If the phone hangs up then it is confirmed that the software is corrupt and will need a reinstallation.

i have the same problem too. after months of using my 5530, i cant remember having it dropped or anything that can make it dysfunctional during calls.

Yes you need the PC ASA card and not ASX,

Example: to speak to a live person dial 72 and the zero time out option sends it back to reception and it will place it on hold,

reception would need to activate a programmable button ASA button when experiencing high volume calls,

If nobody picks up it will revert to the reception or zero time out attendant with another greeting depending on what type of avaya voice mail you have?


If you have R5 vs mail or Partner mail and not a PC mail some tricks can be done.

This may not solve your answer and ring delay on day or night mode needs to be looked at.

The reality is you can delay the callers ability to get to a live person for a minute or so if they choose to hang out without a ASA card.

Send them to an unused ex port and assign the port to automated attendant two. Depending on you VM we can have up to 5 AA's and greetings.

The fact is if your receptionist can't place the call on hold with a music on hold greeting that says's Bla Bla Bla and more nice stuff and stay on the line we will be with you shortly then you need to hire a new receptionist.

There may be many possibilities, like you have lessen your Microphone gain (Input), try to check the level during a call.
Or you software may have some corruption, try to record some sound for confirmation.
And at last your Mic unit may be faulty, replacing it would be the solution.

when your greeting answers, punch in your code, usually a 4 digit code, each manufacturer has their own default code that it comes with.. check the manual or website

Unfortunately, we cannot use that feature especially as I know with Nokia N70 phone. You can only use bluetooth devices head sets or other supported devices via bluetooth. However, you may use your mobile as a modem and access thru GPRS and you may browse directly from your pc, just connect your phone with USB cable to your pc.

i have buy a new Nokia N73 music addition.
but when i put a password on my memory card, it didnt act.
it accept the password, but still the memory card open without password.

Please try this:

Push the center button near the 4 arrows, this should bring up your menu, then arrow down to 7) TOOLS.

Select TOOLS, then arrow over to 3) VOICE RECORDS then select.

Push OPTIONS, then arrow down to Delete all. When prompted, to delete all, select YES.

You are done!

to record voice memos, press the menu button, and select OFFICE->RECORDER. To record a conversation, choose RECORDER during a voice call. Both parties will hear a beep every 5 seconds while call is being recorded.
