My LG 42LG70 keeps turning itself off and on. It goes through the warm up state (red status light fading in and out) then quickly turns on (blue status light) and then right back off and repeats the process. I've tried unplugging it for a while and when I plug it back in, same thing happens. Tried plugging into different outlet, still happens. The only thing that shows up on screen is a very quick view of a small window that says ''DTV 2-1'' in the top-right corner (before the TV turns itself off and the screen goes black). Please Help?! This is so frustrating as this TV is not even 1 year old. Thank you!

The heater ignites well, but if it gets a clear blue flame (and it burns very quiet), the thermocouple will glow red and the heater stays on, but when it gets a opaque blue flame (it makes a sound when...

I would start by replacing the thermocouple. It is suppose to keep the gas valve open when in operation. If the mercury in the thermocouple dries out it won't keep the gas valve open and thus the flame goes out. If that does not work then you have a gas valve problem.

Picture goes off within seconds once turned on

You will have to do some detective work here. If you are getting audio but no video then
the next time this happens take a strong flashlight and hold it against the LCD screen.
Look closely around the edge of the flashlight and see if you can see an image.
If you see an image then the problem will probably be in the inverter board or the power supply board to it.
