Microwave not working

Themicrowave is not working at all; no power. The oven works fine. i checked the home breaker and it is fine. is there a fuse in the unit to replace? If so, how do I get to it? Daewood Ewave model# KOT-170SB. Stopped working, After a while it re-sets itself just to stop working again. No power on the control panel when it stops working. Checked breaker, turned it off for a few seconds and re-set it. Nothing happened. When it works, it cooks but appears to be somehow in low power (took forever).

It sounds like the magnetron is overheating and tripping its thermostat / thermal cutoff. The magnetron will likely need to be replaced along with the the thermostat.

If you or a friend decide to work on it, we have *critical* safety, disassembly, and troubleshooting info at our site, which is linked at our listing here on FixYa: http://tinyurl.com/yzjozk

To get parts, see https://www.mcappliance.com/partorder.aspx

But they don't list the magnetron itself at their Web site, so you may have to look at the sticker on the mag and find a generic (like 2M234M1 for example) by searching by that part number at http://tinyurl.com/gv383

Has no power

If your microwave oven doesn't seem to work at all, check these: Fuses Usually, when your microwave oven doesn't work it all, the internal fuse (thermal fuse) is blown. This fuse protects both you and the oven. When it blows, you need to have a qualified appliance repair technician replace it. Door switch If the fuse isn't the problem, check the door hooks and the door-release button. When these are broken, the door switch doesn't activate, so the oven can't work.

GEJE2160 Stop Working

It probably blew the main power fuse in side the oven. This may have happen because of a failure in the microwave or a line voltage surge or what ever. Repalce the fuse and see if it work. be sure to unplug it before doing this, If this does not fix it then you have a failure in the oven some were.
good luck

Whirlpool GH7145XF

Check your main breaker fuse in your panel/subpanel.

Otherwise if the inline fuse is good and the main power is good, then look at the power supply for the microwave.
