I have dell a425 transformer is dead i need transformer howmany volt out

Did you ask Dell for help? Just don't hold your breath - they would rather you get a new one from them but U can try. If nothing, check it out on Google - might get lucky!

There are no drivers for the A425 speakers. Make sure the power cable is attached to the speakers as well as the speakers plugged into the correct jacks. If your speakers are plugged in and powered on and u still have no sound; check to make sure the sound card drivers are installed.

I found this URL for you that shows a Dell forum where you could probably get all the info you need. It also has specifications for all the internals should you need to replace something. Good luck and be safe. pull off front plastic grill to access four screws on the speaker itself. Unscrew 10 screws on back to pull out the power board. The transformer is screwed to the bottom (4 screws).

The Altec Lansing A425 doesn't appear to have a fuse. Check for a circuit breaker on any surge protectors it might be plugged in to and make sure they haven't been tripped. Confirm that the power cord is firmly plugged in. Additionally, you could check the wall transformer with a multimeter to make sure it is providing the correct voltage needed by the speakers. Check the back of the subwoofer for a hidden power switch. If everything is plugged in and turned on, but you still don't have power, you will either need to open the device up and troubleshoot it or replace it.

i have the same speakers.
but isntead of one side going,
both sides are dead.
and the light on the control side doesnt even turn on
it is plugged in
but i do not know what is wrong
