How to skip:
1. Turn on the laptop.
2. Go into reclabiration.
3. when it says "Please remove the AC adapter" take ALL leads out of it.
4. Leave for about 10 mins.
5.Turn it off.
The battery reclabiration message should be gone.
If not, Your battery needs to be replaced.
There is no switch on an Inspiron 2200. I would go to Dell's website and download the drivers for your model # and then uninstall the existing adapter. then try installing the new driver and let me know what happens.
