This is from the user guide available on the HP.com website:
This section contains the following topics:
• Clear paper jams
• Avoid paper jams
Clear paper jams
Paper jams can occur either inside the printer or in the automatic document feeder.
CAUTION: To prevent possible damage to the printhead, clear paper jams as
soon as possible.
TIP: If you notice poor print quality, clean the printhead. For more information, see
Clean the printhead.
Use these steps to clear a paper jam.
To clear a jam inside the printer
1. Remove all media from the output tray.
CAUTION: Trying to clear a paper jam from the front of the printer can
damage the print mechanism. Always access and clear paper jams through
the automatic two-sided printing accessory (duplexer).
2. Check the duplexer.
a. Push the button on either side of the duplexer, and then remove the unit.
b. Locate any jammed media inside the printer, grasp it with both hands and
then pull it towards you.
c. If the jam is not there, push the latch on top of the duplexer and lower the
cover. If media is jammed inside, carefully remove it. Close the cover.
d. Reinsert the duplexer into the printer.
3. Open the top cover and remove any debris.
4. If you have not found the jam and have Tray 2 installed, pull out the tray and
remove the jammed media, if possible. If not, do the following:
a. Ensure the printer is turned off and disconnect the power cord.
b. Lift the printer off Tray 2.
c. Remove the jammed media from the bottom of the printer or from Tray 2.
d. Reposition the printer on top of Tray 2.
5. Open the ink cartridge access door. If there is paper remaining inside the printer,
ensure the carriage has moved to the right of the printer, free any paper scraps or
wrinkled media, and pull the media towards you through the top of the printer.
WARNING! Do not reach into the printer when it is on and the carriage is
stuck. When you open the ink cartridge access door, the carriage should
return to its position on the right side of the printer. If it does not move to the
right, turn off the printer before you remove any jam.
6. After clearing the jam, close all covers, turn on the printer (if you turned it off) and
resend the print job.

That's about as much as I can find for you. If you look in you user guide which is on a CD that came with the unit, you can go to page 152 through 154 to see diagrams that go with these instructions. Good luck!

Hp3035 paper jam inback door

If you have a paper jam in the back door of your HP LaserJet 3035 printer, follow these steps to clear the jam safely:
  1. Turn Off the Printer: Start by turning off the printer to avoid any potential accidents or injuries.
  2. Open the Back Door: Locate the back door of the printer. It is typically accessible from the back of the printer and may have a release latch or button. Gently open the back door.
  3. Remove the Jammed Paper: Carefully remove the jammed paper from the printer. Avoid tearing the paper while removing it. If the paper is stuck firmly, try to pull it out in the direction of the paper path.
  4. Inspect for Residual Paper: After removing the jammed paper, check for any small bits of paper or debris that may have been left behind. Clear any remaining paper or debris from the back door area.
  5. Check the Fuser Area: The fuser assembly, which is located just after the back door, may also cause paper jams. Inspect the fuser area for any visible jams or obstructions.
  6. Close the Back Door: After ensuring that there is no more jammed paper or debris, close the back door of the printer securely until it clicks into place.
  7. Turn On the Printer: Plug the printer back into the power source and turn it on. It should be ready to use.
  8. Test Print: Perform a test print to ensure that the paper jam issue has been resolved.

I have a Brother MFC 420cn and it keep saying paper jam and there is no paper jam help please

->Clear any loose paper from the paper tray. This will help you locate the jam. You will find it either in front, near the paper tray, or in the rear.

->To clear a paper jam near the paper tray, grip the paper and pull it firmly but gently from the printer. If you find a stack of papers jammed, grab from the middle of the stack and pull.

->For a rear jam, remove the back of the printer. When you find a free edge on the paper, grip it firmly and pull it out.

->Replace the back cover. Press the "Resume" button or turn off the printer, and then turn it back on. Your settings should reset.

->Try printing another document

False paper jam on hp laserjet 4345

Paper jam I suppose is the commonest of all printer problems as it can occur due to strayed, stuck bits of papers in pathway of paper tray, outlet, roller etc. I would recommend cleaning the paper inlet, outlet, and other possible areas to avoid a paper jam situation.

I have a paper jam i cannot find on a kyrocea fs-1300d any suggestions how to find and correct this problem?

Hi

1. Paper jammed can be found in the paper tray. Just remove all the paper and inspect paper jammed from the feeder roller.

2. Paper jammed can be found in the toner cartridge compartment. Remove the toner cartridge and inspect for paper jammed.

3. Paper jammed can also be found in the rear door of the printer (back door of the print). Check if there is a back door and inspect for a paper jammed into the roller.

4. Paper jammed can be found in the toner cartridge itself. Check for teared paper inside the toner cartridge.

Paper jam and still won't print

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. Before you can clear the error message, you must locate where in the unit the paper is jammed.

Unplug the machine for safety. Now follow these instructions based on where the paper jam is located.

1. Pull the paper tray out of the machine.
2. Pull out the jammed paper.
3. Reset the machine by opening the Upper Jam Clear Cover and then closing it.

If you cannot remove the jammed paper from the front of the machine, or the error message still appears on the LCD after you have removed the jammed paper, please go to the next step.

4. Remove the Lower Jam Clear Cover from the back of the machine. Pull the jammed paper out of the machine.

5. Put the Lower Jam Clear Cover back on. Make sure the cover is set properly.

6. Open the Upper Jam Clear Cover. Make sure that there is no jammed paper left in the corners of the machine.
Note: If the paper is jammed under the print head, unplug the machine from the power source, then move the print head to take out the paper. 7. Close the Upper Jam Clear Cover.

8. Close the output paper tray cover and slide it forward, then push the paper tray firmly back into the machine. While holding the paper tray in place, pull out the paper support until it clicks and unfold the paper support flap.

Please do rate the solution and revert for further assistance.

Paper jam - can't clear error message

Here are few instructions on how to clear the paper jam on your printer.

How to Clear a Paper Jam on an HP Inkjet Printer 1. Disconnect the power cord from the back of the printer before you begin. With the power disconnected, you will protect yourself from being shocked. This is an important step when you are fixing any type of electronic device.
2. Move your printer so that you'll have access the back panel. Unhinge the back access panel of the printer.
3. Look for paper through the opened back panel. Remove any paper you find jammed.
4. Close the back access panel. Make sure that it latches into place and looks the same way it did before you opened it.
5. Open the front or top access panel. This is the panel you use to access ink cartridges. If the carriage that holds the ink cartridges moves, then you forgot to unplug the printer. Go back and do that now. Look for paper that may be jammed in this area of the printer.
6. Remove any paper you find jammed here. There will be resistance from the paper feeder, so pull slowly or the paper will rip and create a more serious problem.
7. Close the front access panel. Make sure that it latches back into place.
8. Plug the printer in and attempt to print again. If you can print successfully, you have removed the paper jam.

Hope this helps.
