As a Nespresso demonstrator I've had this question many times- use the black plastic wand for light foam- can use to max line. Using the wire whisk wand for heavy, cappacino foam and fill only to bottom line. This wand uses more aeration to achieve foam density- causing more pressure and your leaks. The wand stored inside the lid doesn't have anything to do with function of the aerrocino.
I had the same problem!! I then found out I was using both attachments when frothing ( I had one attached to the lid and one inside the container while frothing). After doing a huge Internet search I found out you should only use one at a time, inside the container, and keep the other out! The reason you can attach one to the lid is so you dont lose it when not in use!! The plastic one is to be used only for heat frothing and the wire one for cool frothing.(however I am thinking you could use the wire one when heat frothing to make more froth, as the plastic one creates very little. But since I only like a little I'm not 100%). I hope this helps it really saved me!!
Have the same problem here but only happens with low fat milk (0,1%). Works fine with 0,5%.
Try it again with less milk
Two things to consider....clean water or
dirty water?
Clean water usually indicates the fill valve
is not shutting off all the way and the fill valve is "weeping" water
in all the time = new fill valve time!!
Dirty water usually is not a dishwasher
problem but more of a plumbing issue. Often the sink drain that carries the
sinks water outside is not fast enough and some of this sink water is backing
up into the drain hose and filling up the dishwasher through the drain hose.
The drain from the sink to outside needs attention as this type of a problem
indicates a slow house drain for that sink.
The dishwasher drain line should be clamped to the top underneath part of the counter before entering the sink drain plumbing, this may help the water from coming back inside the dishwasher.
