Use a small curved pick to get the remains of the old grommet out.
Try McMaster Carr for a selection of new grommets.

Measure the diameter and put that info into goggle or yahoo or bing or other.
Unless the inner - open - diameter is an odd spec it should be easy to find

My gas water heater(Rheem)pilot lighting is not working. What should I do?

The newer water heaters are sealed units, so the thermonuclear replacement is not as simple. The pilot tube, gas supply tube and the thermocple itself pass through the plate, so they must all be disconnected from the gas valve before removing the plate. Remove the plate, and the entire burner assembly along with it. Everything passes through a red grommet in the plate. Pull the grommet out and remove the bad thermocouple. Now replace and reassemble. Good luck!

I had a shower total replacement less than two years ago. Company out of business now. Shower grout has cracked bad at base and in corner all the way down. I need to re-grout. Problem is the gap in...

Try using a small amount of thin set, Troll it in and be sure to leave a small gap. Let it dry and then use a high quality silicon caulk. Be sure to let that dry for at least 48 hours.

Good luck,

The bottom heating element keeps blowing breaker and bottom of heater is filling up with water around heating element

If there is enough water around element and lower thermostat, it's going to blow the breaker. If you don't have leaks at the pipes above, it's probably time to replace the heater. If the leak can be found and repaired, there may be hope for the heater but, if it is leaking past thermostat, you probably have a crack in the threads. Make sure, if your going to work with the wiring of the unit, that it is turned off and, if it is on, make sure you're careful and not standing in water. You could quite possibly have a cracke or broken tank.

Cracked water heater

Clean the crack up and expose clean metal by sanding it or a small grinder. Use JB weld it is a two part mixture that set's up hard as steel. Any hardware store should carry it.
I have fixed gas tanks, glasses and a few other thing's with it.
The main thing the surface has to be clean so the compound get's a grip to the metal. Since you already have a crack the compound will go into crack to get a inside bond.
You may use a small file or sand paper to open up the crack a little by adding a bevel to groove to expose shinning metal to get acurate bond.
Drain tank and let it dry out before attemping to fix.

They make all kind's of JB weld for different types of applications and Lowes or Home Depot will carry it.
