My Mom is trying to sort through all of my late Stepfather's tools and equipment to see what she needs to keep and what to sell. She wants to know the year/value of a Stihl weedeater model FS 55 RZ serial number 4140-011-2322.

Check Craigslist for comparison. Only use Stihl trimmer or weed eater for search terms. Seems to be a 2017. Even if not running I would not sell a Stihl anything if I had a yard.

I don't have an answer but do have a question. We inherited this same weed eater from my Dad. We need a replacement for the head sleeve. When I search online, the pictures that come up, as available to purchase, look like the depth is twice the size that we need. We even tried a Stihl dealer and had no luck. Do any of you know where we could find one tiny head sleeve to purchase?

Mandy,
I'm not sure of the year of your trimmer but that model in good running condition should sell for around 100 dollars.

My mom has a 98 chrysler t&c and the cluster stopped working now the van wont start again anyone have a solution

This problem must be tested using a special tool at the Chrysler dealer, there are no home repairs that you can do with the tools and the repair books from the dealer or a well equipped shop.

Convergence IC's are bad......

You can mess around with ordering them, and replacing them, and hunting for the bad resistors on the board and replacing those too, or you can order a new board PN BP94-01266a for around $160, and plug it in. You'll have to readjust the convergence manually afterward. Just did it on my set - works beautifully!

I have a 1991 Cadillac DTS that started to act like it was possessed. After driving for a bit, the car would act like it was giving itself gas, felt like it was accelerating on it's own, then it would die....

I had a very similar problem with the same car, it turned out to be a bad battery connection. Very simple solution, I guess I was lucky. I hope this helps and sorry for the late post. If you would consider selling it please write me at reitee at hotmail.com
Good luck.
