It may be the tape(s) themselves. Pre-recorded cassette tapes are usually no problem for most players, but many user-recorded tapes were of the C90 or C120 variety. These cassettes use much thinner tape in order to get the recording time. This can cause the tape, after many starts and stops and partial fast-forwards and rewinds to get tight on the reels. This will cause the tape sensor to think that the tape is at the end of the reel when it is not. Sometimes rewinding from end-to-end will help, but not always,

That would be just a defective secondary interlock (bottom door switch) or its mount.

I have LG lmhm2017st microwave and some times the buttons won't work but now it inputs 11:11 start all by it self over and over again . If I leave it unplugged for a few minutes it will start to work...

If you have warranty use it asp, from the description the problem is in the keypad "membrane shorting" or the microprocessor control board is becoming intermittent, it will get to the point and stop functioning.

I have a microwave oven over the range ,brand Frigidaire , model CFMV156DC purchased in 2006 and stopped working , even the lights on the front panel are on when I press the start button it happened just a...

I have exactly the same problem. Everything works perfectly even fan, except microwave table won't turn. I just found out what's the problem... The door for some reason is sitting too low now, even though it is not obvious at all. It looks leveled with everything else, but it's not. Set your Microwave to let's say 30 seconds and turn it on. It will not do anything... but you just gently lift the door (while closed of course) few millimeters and your Microwave will start running like new. There is something wrong with those latches on the door, not touching the microswitches inside the Microwave. Doors must be properly closed in order for Microwave to work. This is due to poorly design. I yet have to figure out how to fix that permanently.

The start & stop buttoms are not working , the oven powerline is showing on and the temparature regulator is working but the start & stop buttoms are not operating.

The buttons are not working due to the fact the "Brain" has detected a fault condition, most likely the Power Supply and or magnetron, or High Power Diode, has "Faulted" and it shuts down for Safety reasons. Due to the danger existing inside MW, I recommend that you have it serviced by a qualified person. Always get a firm "Quote" before proceeding with any work. Be careful, as often a repair may cost as much as a new one.
