Hi all, when I plug my TV in all I get is the Hitachi Logo,then the set turns off, then the standby light flashes blue and red 8 times. After it flashes the process repeats it self. Nothing changes when I unplug the TV for a while or press the power button. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

mines does that to it means that its updating

hello coopa mark, usully it indicates on a powwer suplly problem.
some times its a bad capacitors

it is the power board in the tv hase some bad capasators in it but can cost some money to fix if unsher how to do it on your own if you live in central new york i do have my own shop and im cheep but i can not warenty any thing but i can help 315-280-0508 storm electronics ask for corey

First unplug set and let set for several minutes the plug in and turn on. Could be in a serv mode.
