Well depends is it front load or top load ? front load will be more difficult. but u have to remove the housing or top panel and run cycle to watch it spin, then listen carefully for where the noise comes from? u can inspect the balancers by observing

if there is any residue of oil or sticky material coming out tops of them, if its a center counter balance made of cement as some are then u can inspect for cracks, u can also look at bottom where hub is braced to housing and look for any breaks, like if the metal brace has broken thus causing an inbalance

I would normally say a clothes balance issue but if its happening all the time. u may have an issue with the counter balance weights or rods depending on ur type of appliance. If they go bad they tend to shut down applaince mid cycle after some amount of movement or shaking. and what happen is it contantly throw machine into unbalance position

SOURCE: fisher and paykel washing machine stopped

If the light that stays on when beeping is 7th from the right then the machine has a pressure transducer which is out of range, the motor controller module (electronic) will need to be replaced.

I have fisher paykel GW611 making a terrible squeaking sound when washing. It seems to be coming from under the white plastic fan like thing under the machine. Need help to get it off Thanks

What do you mean by the white plastic fan? Do you mean the round bowl part of the motor in the centre or the small fan on the drain pump on the front right corner of the bowl?

My f&p gw611 Fills up but then wont wash.the 2nd

Most possibly be Error code 56,
Is common in 11 series machines & early series 12.
Is your machine beeping & showing a weird pattern of lights on the wash cycle, It is displaying an error code,
To read this error code you start at the red spin light & work to the left only add up the lights that are on. Red spin light = 1 2nd rinse light =2 1st rinse light =4 last wash light=8 4th wash light=16 3rd wash light=32 2nd wash light=64 1st wash light=128

Fisher and paykel model no GW611 washes but won't spin nor lid locks

Sounds like the lid lock has gone bad. Check the wire connections to it and if you should need to order the lock, here is their website.

I have lost my instruction manual. It is Fisher & Paykel model GW611 I want to know how to turn off favorites and reprogram it in again

From what I can tell, GW611 is an Ecosmart:

http://www.fisherpaykel.com//admin/pdfs//pdf_usecares/420653_US_Ecosmart_UC.pdf

There are a few different Ecosmart manuals on the Fisher & Paykel website, so you might be able to find one that matches the button shapes you have. They all seem to have the same Favorite instructions:

To set your Favorite Cycle

1. Press the POWER Button.

2. Press the FAVORITE cycle button. Hold down for 4 seconds until you hear two quick beeps and the Favorite light flashes.

3. Select your favorite cycle (eg Regular or Delicate).

4. Select the wash options (eg soak, time saver). Use Advance if you want part of a cycle (eg spin only).

5. Press FAVORITE again to store your favorite cycle.

Note: Your Ecosmart will remember your favorite cycle, or any other cycle that has been customized, even when unplugged from the wall. It is not possible to program a delayed start into the Favorite cycle.
