Heavens Kaitlan you don't ask much do you? I think you need to spend a happy hour or two online with each question, unless there's a Professor of Climatology reading this.

Relay swith for 96 lincion continental

There are many Relays for your car. You need to let us know what Relay is not working or what the car is not doing. Do not remove or work on the Relays until you know which one controls your problem.

Once you restate your problem there are Relay Box diagrams that you can follow to know which position the problem relay is in. Right now Fixya experts need to know what you are trying to repair.

97 lincoln continental auto trans wont shift out of first gear

Most common causes of your problem are the following:
  1. Low transmission fluid
  2. Old/brown transmission fluid
  3. Broken transmission line (any pools of trans fluid on the ground?)
  4. Broken transmission vacuum line
  5. Transmission needs adjustment
  6. Transmission itself needs repair
The first 3 can be checked visually, the last 3 most likely need a mechanic to verify.
